Has Atlas been officially charged yet with any criminal activity? Does anyone have information on this? I wonder how soon this will happen. I Read a comment on KSL.com from an individual that claimed Wade did buisness with Mr. Kitchen(recently charged with mortgage fraud). Does anyone have information tying Sleater to the 6 charged in the provo riverbottoms scam?

I don't expect we'll see formal charges for some time considering their implosion is just weeks old. Of course regulators could have been investigating them for a while already.

1. Wade continues to tell less than the truth as he has been telling people that his other companies are still doing great and he still intends to pay everyone back 'with interest'. This is the second of his companies that have filed for bankruptcy.
2. Wade was clearly misdirecting funds from one company to another ($3.6M 'loan' from Atlas Capital). I'd like to hear of any investors who were advised the investment would be used for anything but real estate.
To Anonymous above: Do your homework, and you'll find out that Wade's company that he started "Atlas Marketing" was the source of creative financing for most of his other companies, many of which were involved in real-estate....do some research on "Atlas Capital", "Markers Holdings", "Source XII" "Source XII Real Estate" as well as Wade and all of his executives' homes....if you look at all the money that Atlas Marketing loaned from different places....try to follow that money trail....it will lead you some very interesting places....

What does Atlas Marketing's bankruptcy filing have to do with real estate fraud? Isn't real estate fraud what the blog is about?

did anything ever come of this issue? Was WAde or any of his business partners ever charged?
